Ooty, Nilgiris: A land of Landscapes — Part 1
I loved landscape photography. But, before my short stay in Ooty, my landscape photography was all about composition and the location. Ooty, opened me up to a lot of different perspectives on visualizing landscapes. A small tourist hill station in Tamilnadu, known for beauty of hills, tea estates and amazing weather.
But Ooty is more than that. Morning mist, oceans of cloud, colors of sky mixed with valleys and tall trees does make every morning and evening unique. Even the road sides of Ooty throws million opportunities to shoot unique compositions.
Following are few road side images between Ooty and Lovedale.
Patterns of tea estates mixed with the structure of small village houses and rays of morning sun does add spice to the ordinary and makes it extra-ordinary. They look best with on morning and evening lights. On your long days, a drive through the curved roads in the evening ensures amazing sunsets. Between the Green carpet covering the hills ranges and the Blues of sky, a warm layer of colors does make you feel calm, relaxed and detach you from everything that mortal.
